never in my life i would of thought i would have to go through this. i see red, white, and blue colors everyday. should i be scared because i see police officers? no i see a beautiful flag that i have grown up with, and i hate it that now they are trying to kick us out of here! i love it here. this is home. i want to make my parents so proud but now things are on hold. passing THE DREAM ACT would help so many lives and specially mine. i do not want to live in fear no more! i want what i have been raised to do and that is SUCCEED!

I support the DREAM act! As I write this I feel like crying because I know the pain of feeling let down by our circumstances. Many of our parents left so much behind for our future and now that we are able to continue our education and do better things for our future we are told that we can’t. I feel disappointed, after all of my hard work and my parents sacrifice. Now what? I can’t apply for many scholarships, although I have all the educational requirements, I CANT because I don’t have a valid nine digit number and now the rest of my future is at stake. PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE, LET ME LIVE MY DREAM, MY PARENTS DREAM, THE DREAM OF ALL OF THE THOUSANDS OF YOUNG ASPIRING ADULTS, PLEASE PASS THE DREAM ACT!

The benefits of passing the DREAM ACT out weigh the negatives. Congress needs to stop fighting with each and doing whats best for their party. They need to start doing whats best for this country and its citizens. The DREAM ACT will allow this country to have access to many bright young people and their future contributions to this country.

Martin Luther King Jr. once had a dream, now all the immigrant students have the dream for the dream act to pass. don't deny these kids for a better education, better life, and better future. every immigrant comes to the United States for the AMERICAN DREAM but these people are putting more obtacles to these kids that only want to have a better education, people like the arizona governor putting this ridiculous law it is just frustrating to me to see how pathetic that women is. let the dream act pass everyone should have the right for their AMERICAN DREAM.

My parents are here in this country because they wanted to provide us a better life with higher education. Higher education that was not offered in the small town where their from. We are begging for this act to pass so we can continue our education with no obstacles. WE ARE FIGHTING FOR A CHANCE AT EDUCATION!!! Isn't that what they teach us in school. Go to college, get a degree, become someone, get a good job. Well, how is that possible? We came here for a chance, a chance to make something for ourselves and what we ask for is obviously too much!

My son is a US High School graduate (suma-cum-laude), however, due to our immigration status we are paying high tuition fees for his college degree, we are underpaid workers trying to pay bills.

Although it is a great burden to us, we struggle to pay his tuition because he is not eligible for any type of scholarship, grants or funds due to our condition, he is a great kid with unbelievable talent which we do not want to be wasted so we are paying for his college education. However, if his situation is changed he may be able to get a student loan, this is his 3rd year in college. During his 1st year @ college he made the Dean's list, he has a college GPA of 3.8 or over.

Due to his situation he can not drive so he has to commute by bus for 2 hours transferring from one to another and it's wearing him down because it's tiring.

We all migrated to this great country a few years ago due to the political and economical situation from where he came.

He speaks english, spanish and italian fluently.

It's a shame to waste talent like this, which is the case of many many young children out here and when I see their struggles I think about my own son.

What a shame.

IF WE ARE THE FUTURE, THEN GIVE US THE RIGHT TO CONTINUE OUR CAREER. IM SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE SAYING IMMIGRANTS TAKE AWAY JOBS FROM THE LEGAL PEOPLE. WE DONT TAKE AWAY ANY JOB FROM THEM, ITS NOT OUR FAULT CITIZEN DONT LOOK FOR THE HARD JOBS THE IMMIGRANTS DO. I know that the DREAM Act would facilitate me being able to attend college. I will be a senior in a few weeks and to be truly honest with you I am extemely nervous becauseI know this year is going to cme and go in a flash, yet I am uncertain of what will come next. The only people that I actually do have as family is my parents and godparents. I dream of becoming a doctor in the future. I will be the first one in my family to go to highschool and hopefully to college too. But in order to go to college, the Dream Act has to pass. In my opinion EVERYONE should be treated equally with the same rights because we are all a race & that is the HUMAN race. Not because of our color or where we come from. I know if we try as hard as always the DREAM ACT will make a big change in the U.S.

There are many students who worked hard their entire high school years to plan to go to college and better their status. Then they find out that they won't be able to continue their education because they won't qualify for financial aid, grants, or loans. Their goals and dreams cut off just like that. Then there are those who party in school and that are going to college simply because it doesn't cost them any of their own money. It's the taxpayer's money that is putting them through school. I believe that this Dream Act will help out the people who deserve it and who will be an asset to the Nation. :)

I believe that students who have grown up here in the USA should be given a chance to become citizens, provided that they are in good standing, and want to become integrated as Americans, and not as "foreign national" living in America.

My hope is that this bill will give that opportunity to these young people

He and my parents have been on visa's for nineteen years, yet it is still impossible for them acquire citizenship. Surely the USA should be encouraging young people like Mark to stay in the USA and complete their studies not turning their backs on them. The Dream Act would make the dreams of my sister and family, a reachable goal.

This is one of the most important things that Congress must approve. Some undocumeted immigrants come to the US for a safer life. They want to be a part of society and work for the greater good. Many kids have worked hard through school and as they are ready to graduate they can not continue to higher education.

Please pass the dream act, this is going to revitalize our country

I have worked with many outstanding young people who fall into this category. Many of these are more conscientious and are of moral character than some native young people who take their citizenship for granted. We need Dream Act qualifiers to stay here and share their goodness with America and the world.

i strongly support the DREAM ACT. and I really hope President Obama pass the plan as soon as possible in order to let the country allow any of us being able to go to college for achieving further educations and degrees. so many people like me have been living in the darkness, and we need to see some changes of a new immigration policy. please pass the act.

The gifts that the undocumented immigrants bring to the nation are overwhelmingly greater than the cost that is perceived. We cannot afford keeping a section of our population in the the shadows of ignorance. Education is the key for the success of our state and our nation.

Let the children live their dream. Nothing should stop them from getting a better education.

Please pass the DREAM Act. So many students and young people are living in the shadows, being denied inclusion into society and being punished for the actions of their parents.
