YES! this is something that i think should have been done awhile ago! many excellent students have worked very hard to graduate high school. I too am one of them, who came here when i was 9 years old and spoke no English whatsoever. I have recently graduated high school and i plan to go to college and study education to give back to my community, but unfortunately i am undocumented and can't be certified as a teacher when i graduate college. I am 100% supportive of the DREAM ACT! i know many other students who have worked very hard! WE deserve some rewards for that!

It would aslo help law abiding, graduates and future graduates, who want to benifit and serve in the society we were taight in, reach their goals and dreams we were taught to have all our lifes but for most of us the end of the road is at the end of high school?...we think what now?, what could i do with all the talents ad knowledge i learned in school?.So i urge and hope that mine and everybodys only dsream and hope that the DREAM Act passes, passes.

This bill should be passed immedietly. I hate that the graduating classes of now and the past are unable to continue their education because of a simple status. As an undocumented student, I do nothing but study, I would like to go on to college but sadly i am afraid that is not possible. I can not afford school. I recently tried to sign up for the ACT, but i was discouraged when they asked my legal status. I don not want my dreams to end here.

I significantly fear that with my restrictions and limitations as an undocumented student my dream of being succesful in the only country I've ever known will be deffered. The Dream Act would change the life of millions of people who are coming into this amazing country seeking a better life for their loved ones. People who are having acces to higher education are the people who become leaders in our communities, and are the ones who make a diference in the world.
Our youth is desperately seeking this opportunity to demonstrate they are capable of reaching the standards to education that any documented person can.

I understand that some of us are here illegally in this country but that is by no fault of our own. As a student I hope to go to college and recieve many degrees, and hope this is possible for all undocumented students living in the United States if America. Growing up in a country that is not one's home country is difficult, but adapting to one culture all your life then learning you have no future there is even more difficult. I hope the Dream Act is passed and keeps the young and innocent were they belong, in their new home country , USA.

There's so many students from my former high school who couldn't go to college because they didn't have their documents. In my community college its 600 plus books for TWO classes! Its ridiculous and I can't even work. I've never broken a law, I'm a good person. I give back volunteer every week. We get punished for actions we didn't make. None of us know any other place other than were we are, this is our home. Remember this country that was formed by IMMIGRANTS. How is it right or fair to punish a child for something they had no say or control over? Does the immigration system need to be changed, yes. Does punishing hard working, honest people really do any good? I think there is a lot of stigmatism behind the term "illegal immigrant" that needs to be overcome instead of indulged through biased or ignorant opinion. Let's pass this thing and not only help secure the future of our children, but of our nation.

The Dream Act proves that there is hope, hope for a brighter, more certain and secure future. I used to be in the same shoes before, my family and I came to America when I was a little child, unknown to the circumstances I was placed in. I know what it was like to be uncertain of how to go to college or even if I got my degree, how will I get a job? But by God's goodness, my prayers were answered and I was able to become a permanent resident and I now possess a bachelor's degree and started my career in social services. So my heart definitely goes out to those who are in need of the Dream Act to be passed. Let's do this!

He has been a here since infantcy, completed high school, and now is stuck in "limbo" It is just a shame that his parents never took the time to get him papers. He and my parents have been on visa's for nineteen years, yet it is still impossible for them acquire citizenship. Surely the USA should be encouraging young people like Mark to stay in the USA and complete their studies not turning their backs on them. The dream act should be unanimously supported. It is well written, fair, and provides an opportunity for the youth to not only become educated but earn a better life. They would become american citizens both on paper and in terms of education.

PLEASE PASS THE DREAM ACT! I JUST GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL WITH HONORS AND I CAN'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE OF MY STATUS! I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE I WAS 5 YEARS OLD, SO I'VE BEEN LIVING HERE FOR 13 YEARS AND NOW THAT I AM OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL, I CAN'T GET MY DREAM CAREER OR GET ANY OF MY DREAMS ACCOMPLISHED! I SPEAK 3 LANGUAGES, A WHIZ AT WRITING AND READING AND I WANT TO BECOME A TEACHER OR A WRITER BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE OF THE STUPID PAPERS... SOME SAY THAT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS SHOULDN'T GET PAPERS BUT WHAT US YOUNG ADULTS WHO WERE TAKEN HERE BY KIDS HAVE TO PAY FOR WHAT OUR PARENTS DECIDED TO DO? IT'S NOT FAIR! I AM 100% LIBERAL AND I BELIEVE IT'S TIME FOR US EDUCATED PEOPLE TO GET WHAT WE DESERVE!

It is a shame that AMERICA will not give students the opportunity to prove their skills and ambitions because of their legal status. Many of these students have lived in the U.S. their entire life and have been living the American lifestyle. So why not give those who want a future, the chance to prove that they can too be someone in life one day? We all share this world and we should all be treated equally with no judgements and restrictions. The Dream Act should be passed!!!!!!

It's time to pass this needed bill in Congress and for it to be signed by the president. These young people should be allowed to finish their education and become citizens of our great country. These are law-abiding students doing the right thing. they want to make their way in our society and they have earned that right. The law needs to be passed as soon as possible. This is what our country was founded on. Freedom.

It is a shame that illegals crossing the border (can't call them immigrants) are treated with more respect than those whom have abided by all of our visa requirements for years and are prevented citizenship in this country. Martin and Alison Dennis have made significant contributions to this town of Steamboat Springs, the state of Colorado and this country of ours. Hopefully, the bipartisan effort to pass the Dream act will become a reality for this wonderful family.
