I'm here to sign for a great cause. Believing in this can be a great part of creating this. I was sent here by Wong Fu, through the email one of guy, and with only words I was lifted to join in and support this group. May this cause come about and pursue the future students of America! (:
Im in middle school but when i graduate from high school i want to be able to have the best education possible
we really need the dream act to come thru, United States is a great country, and I want to have my share to make it better. I graduated from high school and just started community college, but it is extremely expensive. Please approve the act
I firmely believe that there are a lot of brilliant students who are illegally here (not by their own choice) in this country who have the potential to be great contributors to this great country, and make it stronger still. They could potentially be the medic, nurse, or doctor to save a life of someone who might have died had this person not been here. The chances are that every Citizen in this country is unknowingly friends with one of these students that has been part of their childhood, community, or possibly work place. The Dream Act is a great way to find these students, which will give them the courage to come forth and be all they can be. Its an opportunity for them to come along and work side by side with the rest of America's great Citizens and make this Country all that it can be.
I graduated from high school a year early and now i can't get my scholarship because i'm not a "citizen". we need a change and we need it now!
Wong Fu Productions has immense support from all around the country. Their inspiring and imaginative works have attracted even more fans. Which brings me here, to support this act. Every student must deserve a chance! Thank you to the WFP blog for bringing up this movement. For the better future, chase your dreams, maintain your health, and best of luck.
Instead of them doing all of this to the people that have a dream, they should let them futher their education and let them give back to the United States of America.

I'm part of the class of 2010. I'm also part of the class that is not reaching the outmost potential. With the Dream Act, there will finally be a light at the end of one of the darkest, ominous situation that has haunted my life for years. Please, I pray, and I hope and I DREAM, and maybe those in power will say yes, and choose reason as well as compassion and understanding.
Dream big and keep your chin up high, we will make it better than anyone else. Growing up being undocumented makes you a stronger person and gets you ready to take on these conservatives that think their the best.we horas stick together like a big family! Class of 2010!!!!
all my wishes too so that the dream act pass. my support with you even if I cant do much. but really really congrats for all you have already achieved and what you are going to achieve.
Take care
hello well we are going to have a meeting with Ruben Kihuen and Senator Harry Reid staff and i will like to know if i can have some poster or support for this meeting Aug. 29. 2010 can you please call me. (775)2911606 Carson City, Nevada
President Obama please sign in the Dream Act. I have beautiful friends that have been here in the US for over 12 years and now have been told they have to leave by Dec.10. They have two children that started school here when they were 6 years old. They are in college now and one of them is working as well. They are a wonderful family, hard working, clean driving records and no criminal records of any type. They are your all american family but they are decendents of venezuela. If you walked into the business that the father works at he would great you with the biggest smile and enthusiasm you've probably ever seen. His wife is a modern Lucille Ball. Funny and witty. They all speak english extremely well except the mom. Please done allow this family to have to go back to Venezuela. They are very valuable assets to our country. They are not taking our jobs. They are doing our jobs because they were hired as qualified to do the job. They are trying to make our country a better one. My daughter studied every day after school with their son and he became like my own son to me. He has good standards of living, he's hard working and very likeable. He too is an asset to our school system. He's studying in a college in Florida. Call me if anyone has any questions or suggestions.
Thanks,
Robin 207-282-7949
A DREAM that deserves to see the light.
I wish Dream Act passes!
I wish DreamAct the best of luck.
I'm a Korean-American(Citizen of the U.S.).
I'm an atheist, which means I do not believe in god, but still I sign the Dream Act to help illegal immigrants become legal immigrants! Because I believe everyone should have the chance to chase their dreams, and eventually conquer it.
Richard Shin
Although I am not an immigrant, I find myself in the same situations as my friends who did come over to the U.S. They are not that much different from me, and are probably the most hopeful and enthusiastic people I've ever met. I would be sad to see that their hopes and dreams to be crushed. They came here for a reason.
SIGNED
God will be with us until the very end. AND THIS DREAM WILL BECOME A REALITY!!
I moved to FL from england at the age of 15. i am now a month away from being 20. i went straight to high school when i got here, and that alone is a very difficult thing to do. I graduated with a standard high school diploma and then continued to the community college. Throughout the last 5 years, i have not had a ssn or any sort of rights of my own. so i have been unable to get a job or support myself by any means. i am trying to become a nurse in this county and unfortunetly i have to return to england in the next few months to be able to do that. I feel this is very unfair as the most important years of my schooling are in the american system and now, i have to go back and try to convert back to a system i dont even know.
the american country is about giving people freedom to do the things they want to do and its the land of opportunitys.. but is it really only this for its full blood people? were here to make a difference and were not allowed to do that, because were not originated from here. PASS DREAM ACT!!!!
The Dream Act is my hope and aspiration. It is the key to my future.
i support this act . but i would like to know what can i do to hepl this law pass??????????????????.
Dream Act, yeah!
I hope the U.S Gov't will approve the Dream Act because this will provide an opportunity for immigrants to be an American, and they will provide America a bigger, brighter future!
I have lived in the U.S since I was 5 years old. I'm now 17 years old and about to graduate high school. I'm still not a citizen and even though I try to look on the bright side of things, it gets harder and harder. I live everyday in fear of what my future will become, and in fear of getting deported back to a country I don't know anything about. I can't even get my license nor do a lot of things that normal teenagers do. Sometimes I feel like I'm not even human by the way we are treated. I'm not a bad person, I'm not a criminal or none of that. I'm a hard worker and very smart. I feel that everyone is equal and I just want an opportunity like everyone else. I want a chance to be the best that I can be. All I have now is HOPE.
Aprove the Dream Act NOW!!!!!
I was brought to the us as a kid, and I know nothing else. I love this country with all my heart but Its getting harder and harder to do anything without citizenship.
good luck. make this nation a better place
After reading the details of the dream act Im baffled by how it has not been passed yet. with all the issues regarding immigration in this country, for those who oppose the idea of illegal immigrants this is the first step to removing them. the dream act is the modern day Ellis island path into this country just with better qualifications.America has been the home of the free and the country with the most diverse population. without the dream act passed the fine print of freedom is still labeled across this country.contrary to popular belief this act effects more than just one race and should not be a way to control a specific race or ethnicity.the DREAM act has strict qualifications that should put those opposed to illegal immigrants at ease, giving the act more likelihood of being filibuster proof.I came across this website after learning of someones immigration troubles and decided to do some research to help out. Congress be an American and D.R.E.A.M
Everyone should have a chance, no matter what they look like or where they come from. America was supposed to be a land of dreams and freedom. Make these people's dreams come true.
There is a negative attitude toward immigrants and it is unrealistic in many aspects. Not all of us are unemployed addicts living off of welfare and food stamps. The DREAM Act would be a chance at citizenship for those who DESERVE it and shine some light on the positive side of the situation. There are some people in this nation who need to remember that EVERYONE was an immigrant to America at some time. I fail to see how their birth in this country (something they had no control over) has given them the right to judge those of us who were not so fortunate. I would also like to point out that many of us are trying to become citizens through the legal process. The general public doesn't realize how difficult it is to deal with the INS. We are 10 years and thousands of dollars into the process of legally becoming a citizen through an American relative. And the end is not yet in sight. It makes my blood boil when I see citizens who have lived here for nearly 20 years and still cannot speak English. How are they possibly more qualified than I to be a legal part of this nation? There is a flaw in this country's immigration system and it needs to be fixed. The DREAM Act would be a step in the right direction. Give us a chance to prove ourselves.
THANK YOU to the Parents who brought us to this country, who have supported us and sacrifice it all for our future, THANK YOU to the American Schools who have held our hands through our education, THANK YOU to the American Citizens who have accepted us as individuals and accepted our backgrounds, THANK YOU UNITED STATES OF AMERICA for opening your doors to our humble families...However, today more than ever, us students, once children in "wonderland", need help to continue this DREAM our parents have started, a DREAM that is unique in every one of us but unites us all in the end, because we have all desire, aspire, and have reached out to our DREAMS since the beginning this journey. PLEASE HELP US STAY IN THIS COUNTRY AND WE WILL NOT FAIL YOU!
This generation is our future
I support this cause!
It's unbelievable what kind of pain I had to endure. I came to the U.S. when I was 12. I realized that I was illegal when I asked my mom if I could get a driver's license.
Despite my 3.8 HS GPA and 2000+ SAT score, I had to go to a community college. The college is fine, but I could've done way better than that. I don't even know whether I can transfer to different colleges now. DREAM Act is my last hope. If this doesn't work out, I guess I cannot stay in the U.S. much longer...
Every student should have a chance.
Make the DREAM a reality.
It's time for us to have our opportunity to show what we immigrants are all about!
I support (^_^)
I have lived here since 1999 and I have always, and when I say ALWAYS I mean always been the best in all my classes. Other students admire my intelligence, others get mad off of it. Teachers have always had me leader of all in-class groups, and have always participated more then any other student in my class out of all classes I ever been in. I'm telling you this because, don't you think an "immigrant" like me should deserve any type of help to be part of this country once and for all.
Totally supportive.
another support never hurts! ^^
good luck with getting this approved--I know how important a green card can be!!!
Dream on!! Never give up.
Signed
DREAMACT RULES
Everyone deserves a chance. Thanks to Wong Fu
Ted from WFP sent me here. you have my support. :)
Ted from Wong Fu Productions sent me here.
Here I support you all!!
I want to do this because every student should get a education!!! like me and others have DREAMS
I want the Dream Act to come true It will many people
Please pass this Dream Act, as I feel it is urgent to help keep these good family community members together.
My husband was brought here at 3 years old. We have a lawyer and he says we have to go to Mexico! I have been praying everyday about the dream act. This will help our family and our economy.
I am 30 years old, and the dream act would finally complete me. The sorrow and depression of being undocumented can only be understood by people that are going through the same, and to a certain extent by their documented family members. We still have to eat, we still have to pay rent and even taxes. I have to feed my children and make a living somehow. I want to be an equal participant of this society. I'm not asking for a handout or for pity, but instead for fairness and acceptance.
Our founding fathers would have found it incomprehensible that anyone would oppose this legislation. To consider that someone would put their life on the line as a member of the military without a path to citizenship absolutely shows no gratitude for the sacrifice they are willing to put forth. Opposition to the Dream Act goes against the grain of the "give me your poor, your hungry, thirsting to be free" sentiment that once offered a path forward for hundreds of thousands of immigrants from Europe and other foreign countries. The story hasn't changed from the early 1900's. But now, the immigrants are from other places, but with the same thirst. Most of the young people who this bill applies to did not come here of their own volition, they came with their parents. They have lived along side of us, as part of us, and have been collectively raised by us as our children. They are, in effect, ours, and we have no other honor bound responsibility but to embrace them as our own, and march to the future as a family. My distant ancestors came here as what would now be considered illegal aliens. To deny these children, would be to deny our own ancestors. We weren't turned away. These children should likewise be accepted in the same way. William McCown
This is a chance for young kids to prove to themselves to the world that they can do it! this is not about where you are from or where you were born, its about the drive that these kids have! to do what they want to do to be succesful in their lives. WE want to be better people and the Dream Act will help us in realizing the potentional we have!
I believe that students who have grown up here in the USA should be given a chance to become citizens, provided that they are in good standing, and want to become integrated as Americans, and not as "foreign national" living in America.
My hope is that this bill will give that opportunity to these young people
The youth of illegal immigrants are victims or circumstance and should not be punished for the actions of their parents. They had no choice...let's give them a chance!
I support this act for all the people who had no choice in their future. Even though it doesn't seem to directly effect me, it could give my boyfriend the chance to go to college, support me and a family, and live his dreams. I believe it will be a great change and opportunity for the US!
I want the DREAM ACT to pass because I want to go to college and become someone in life.
I will keep praying that our God will show us once again his power in this situation and that he will touch the hearts of the Senators and Leaders so that they may pass the Dream Act because it will help thousands of great students with high GPA get into college, so that they may pursuit their dreams and aspirations. Many of these students want to benefit the US with their knowledge, but cannot because of the immigration rules and guidelines.
I know that the best is yet to come for all those who are waiting for this miracle.
The day the DREAM Act is passed is the day all will rejoice. Can't ask for equality in everything, but if it's to better oneself, why not allow everyone the opportunity?
I want this reform to past so i can go to college
I support this reform, and i want this reform to be accomplish, because many student like my self are suffering by this terrible laws that U.S government are doing this to students that want to have a dream like me. So i want my dream to be accomplish and i want to be some one in this country.
Please use your legislative power to help young high school students who fall victim to the deportation back to their home countries when their families remain under Visa protection.
The DREAM ACT should pass because it would help alot of people like me that, couldn't go further with my education to actually go further in life and succeed to the max. It is very important to us in order to get ahead without any road big blocks.
Ted Fu also inspired me to sign and support this.
I think that the dream act is very important because it will help make other children's dream of becoming someone important in this country real. This will give many illegal childern many chances of having a bright future. So i think that this program is a new start to our country.
Dream Act needs to be passed as soon as possible. Please let this act pass!!
This is act should be passed! Not only is it economically benficial but its basic logic! Think of it like this. What if your parents told you that you were moving? Even if you didnt want to would you have a choice? Probably not, so why should these youth, my husband included, have to pay for what their parents did? We wouldnt be punished for our parents killing somebody would we? They need to pass this act, like NOW!
We need this Act in order for justice to be done for all Americans.
everyone have a chance to do something with their life rather then get stuck in the middle. They didn't choose this life of getting stuck in the US by choice it was given to them so this should be passed for the less fortunate.
I could not imagine a more reasonable proposal that would enrich this country, which is also quite difficult to abuse.
I am a citizen born and raised here .I no many young teenagers that graduated with my kids last year. That cant plan for the furture. That realy saddins me. This act would be a blessing!!!
This is essential to the future of America. I work in schools where bright children face a horrible future. We need this workforce. Please enact the dream act.
The Dream Act should be passed, there are so many students like myself that need is law to be passed. I'm fortunate to be attending a community college for now, but I don't know for how much longer my parents can help me out, even with loans. The Dream Act, would really help me and others who also came to the US.as children and graduated High School here, finish our careers.
my biggest fear is gradutating because i know that after that happens i have little cahnce of succeeding without a legal status in this country no matter how succesful i am now im high school this would be the biggest help in the world i support the Dream Act.
WE need this law to pass!.. We want to be Americans and be part of this beautiful country
The Dream Act will give me a second chance. I was brought to the United States when I was only 12. I finished high school and attended a community college for two years.. However I had to come back to my home country because I could not afford a 4 year school. This act would give me a chance of going back to the place that I love and cherish.
Pass the Dream Act.. It is a our second chance...
I want earn my dream i need a chance.
Ted Fu inspired me to sign this.
The Dream Act must be passed so that my adopted grandson, Mark, can complete his studies and not have to return to England when he is 21. If this should happen the Dennis family will be split. Steamboat would lose a hard-working consciencious family who give greatly to the community.
My parents brought me to the U.S in 1995 if been here ever since.I love it here and i don't know anything else tgan here,if I was to be taking back to mexico I wouldnt know where to go.I graduated in May of this year and I really wanted to go to college but I can't go because I am illegal,it really breaks my heart when my parents can't do nothing about it
I'm foreign on both sides. I hope this bill passes soon.
I am a junior at CSU Long Beach majoring in Social Work and getting a minor in Psychology. Beside all the stress that school can cause to any college student, my biggest stressor is the current fact that I may not be able to fulfill my dream of working and contributing to my community like everyone else. Despite my fear and anger I will continue to fight for my dream because MY DREAM COUNTS TOO!
I was born in mexico but raised in the usa so i am not just a mexican i am a MEXICAN-AMERICAN.
I support this comprehensive BIll!!
Graduating from high school with honors had given me strong hopes for building my future. For the past three and a half years I have been an "AB540" student at a local community college; completed my GED. Where I stand now, gives me no opportunities to fulfill my dream of becoming a nurse. The DREAM ACT needs to be passed now! I, and many other "AB540" students need to move on.
I am also the byproduct of this lack of inactivedness. Please help Mr. President. I have a Masters in Education and can not teach due to my lack of a greencard.
Thank you
I am in support of the Dream Act. I was born on the fourth of July, 1993 in the U.S. My brother was born in the United Kingdom and moved to the United States when he was four months old along with our parents. He and my parents have been on visa's for nineteen years, yet it is still impossible for them acquire citizenship. My brother is nineteen and as it is now, he can not be on our parent’s visa after he turns 21 years. The DREAM Act would allow him and many other kids to have a pathway to become citizens.
We are here to contribute to the united states. all we ask for is an opportunity to demonstrate that we are all Americans who love this country and who just want to be a part of it. we are contributors please give us the opportunity to succed!!
My nephew has lived in the USA since he was 4 months old. He has studied hard at school and is now attending Boulder university on a four year course. Because of the laws of the USA he will have to cut short his course when he is 21 and return to a country he hardly knows, leaving behind his family and not being able to complete his Batchelor degree. Surely the USA should be encouraging young people like Mark to stay in the USA and complete their studies not turning their backs on them. Please let this Dream act proceed and stop splitting families.
To be able to have the persistence required to wait for such a monumental bill is an amazing feat by itself. However, to have that persistence along with the willpower and determination to follow your dreams and never allow others' actions to waver your ultimate decision of becoming successful.... that makes me believe that, one day, the world will be a great place because of these incredible people.
We should have the opportunity to dream of our future like all of our other classmates.
The Dream Act would make the dreams of my sister and family, a reachable goal.
This is one of the most important things that Congress must approve. Some undocumeted immigrants come to the US for a safer life. They want to be a part of society and work for the greater good. Many kids have worked hard through school and as they are ready to graduate they can not continue to higher education.
Please pass the dream act, this is going to revitalize our country
I have worked with many outstanding young people who fall into this category. Many of these are more conscientious and are of moral character than some native young people who take their citizenship for granted. We need Dream Act qualifiers to stay here and share their goodness with America and the world.
i strongly support the DREAM ACT. and I really hope President Obama pass the plan as soon as possible in order to let the country allow any of us being able to go to college for achieving further educations and degrees. so many people like me have been living in the darkness, and we need to see some changes of a new immigration policy. please pass the act.
For them to pass the DREAM ACT is the only thing i am asking for..NOTHING will make me happier but to know that it has finally been passed*
